Eliana Joy
Joy is an inspirational writer known for her unique, world-building. Her interest is tied to fantasy and her love of Jesus Christ. Joy uses her love of Christ to write symbolic stories filled with power, comedy, and soft, long-shipped romances.
Her dream is to soften people’s hearts towards the gospel and Jesus Christ through her writings. To build worlds that invite people of all types to enjoy the creativity and love that God inspires in us. She wishes to make books that are more than words and more than worlds but stories filled with relational characters that will have an impact on people's life and spirit.
After she graduated from a private Christian high school, Joy spent a year considering the idea of writing. She placed her ideas down in notes and created a journal of would-writes. It wasn’t until she lost her dog to an almost seven-year battle with epilepsy that Joy picked up the pencil and began writing.
Her entire first book was first written inside a journal notebook(three total)—then transferred to her phone before she ever owned a computer.
Passion for her works kept her going for several years despite continual falls and broken expectations until she came up with a new story, and her greatest yet, Heritage Fate Stage I Iris.
Both a writer and artist, Joy uses her skills to craft her work into tangible forms for everyone to enjoy the same jokes and ideas she does.

Interview Questions:
What is your favorite color?
Yellow. I love its vibrancy, and I like all colors in pastels. Except for orange. Yes, orange, I don't particularly like, and I know that is ironic considering the color scheme I chose for Iris Odyssey. The color just came to me when I was about to go to sleep, and I just knew it had to be an orange gradient.
What do you do in your free time when you are not busy writing?
I watch anime, play video games, pray, and play with my animals. I'm an animal lover and spend about an hour a day just hanging out with my fur babies.
Is there anything embarrassing you do?
I dance awkwardly and offbeat, and I sing off key too.
What would you say to anyone attempting to start a career writing or in illustration?
I would tell them that everything takes time, but consistency finished the race. Some people pick up on things more easily than others, but that doesn't mean they have a passion for it. It is the passion and fire for your dreams that guides you like a light passing all disparity. That is hope. My hope is Jesus Christ.
